Morphology: Young hatch from eggs, are very similar in appearance to adults, and molt three times Front Wings: Not present
Segmentation: Possess two segments, a cephalothorax and an abdomen Hind Wings: Not present
Distinctive Characteristics and Behaviors:

          These creatures get their name from their similar appearance to scorpions, possessing pincer-like pedipalps.  However, pseudoscorpions do not possess a terminal sting.
