7.20 UNI HIGH GRIEVANCE POLICY
Home > About Uni > School Policies > Student Handbook > 7.20
From time to time situations may arise, not involving disciplinary actions, in which a student feels that his/her interests have not been dealt with fairly. Uni High School students are encouraged to make every attempt to resolve misunderstandings and disagreements informally with individuals directly involved.
If the student feels the problem remains unresolved, the student is encouraged to seek the assistance of a teacher, a counselor, or the Assistant Director. If further efforts to resolve the problem are unsuccessful, the Assistant Director should arrange a meeting with the student and the individual involved. Parent(s)/guardian(s) will be included at the meeting when appropriate. All present at this meeting should make every effort to arrive at a mutually acceptable resolution. Should the agreed-upon resolution prove ineffective, the student should then inform the Director/Principal.
