Home > About Uni > School Policies > Student Handbook > 5.6

A student may repeat a course under any one of the following conditions:

1.  A student receives a final grade of “F” in a required course or a course that is part of a required sequence.

2.  A student receives a final grade of “F” in an elective course and the Executive Teacher of that department approves repeating the course.

3.  A student receives a final grade of “D” in any course and the Executive Teacher of that department approves repeating the course.

4.  A teacher may recommend that a student repeat any course that the Executive Teacher of that department approves.

Upon successful completion of the repeated course, the following actions will be taken on the student’s transcript:

1.    The original grade and credit will be deleted from consideration in “credits towards graduation” and grade point average.

2.    The original grade and credit notation will remain on the transcript with an appropriate notation such as “This course is not included in computing credits towards graduation or grade point average.”

3.    Grade point averages computed following the completion of the repeated course will reflect the repeated course grade.
