World Travelers

Some students in Algebra 1 day-dreamed their way through class by thinking up trips to exotic places.

Lucky for them, they KNEW how to use pairs of coordinates to write equations for the lines along which they would travel!

Mike's Dream Trip:  Mahomet, IL to Berlin to Beijing, then down-under to Sydney, and back home by way of Nairobi and Brasilia.

Jennifer's voyage starts at home then visits Interlaken, Switzerland; Jilf, Egypt; Kyoto, Japan; Mobrup, Australia; and Averias, Argentina.
Austin's journey starts in Champaign, then visits Prague, capital of his ancestral homeland.  He next shoots over to Seoul, then Sydney, then (winning the prize for the most poetic place name) Djibouti, Djibouti before returning to the Western Hemisphere and home by way of Muniz, Brazil.
