Next year Uni will host a large crowd of basketball players from its sister school of Konan, located in Kobe, Japan.

When Director/Principal Kassie Patton visited Konan this summer, Konan's administration approached her with the idea.

About 35 members of the Konan boys team will visit the U.S. from Oct. 21 to 31, including several days in Champaign-Urbana. They hope to scrimmage with Uni's team, tour Chicago, and attend an NBA game. Uni is looking for host families for the players and chaperones for the three nights they will be in C-U.
