About 25 members of the Konan Boys High School Basketball Club, along with their chaperones, will visit Uni High next week from Kobe, Japan. Uni and Konan — both its boys and girls schools — have engaged in regular student exchanges since 2002.

ITINERARY

Sunday, Oct. 29
— 4:25 p.m. Arrive in Chicago (O'Hare); depart for Urbana hotel: Hampton Inn.
— 8 p.m. Arrive at hotel for evening.

Monday, Oct. 30
— 9 a.m. Walk to Uni High. Meet Japanese II class in Uni Gym. Konan players will be paired with Uni students for day. Konan guests will go through the morning schedule with Uni students.
— 11:35 a.m. Lunch at Uni (box lunch).
— 12:15 p.m. Return to hotel to dress for practice.
— 12:35 p.m. Depart for Assembly Hall from hotel.
— 1 p.m. Practice at Assembly Hall.
— 2:30 p.m. Depart Assembly Hall to Ubben practice facility.
— 2:45 p.m. Meet and greet with coaches and U of I men's players.
— 3 p.m. Watch Fighting Illini practice.
— 4 p.m. Depart Ubben for hotel.
— 4:05 p.m. Dinner.
— 4:45 p.m. Return to hotel.
— 5:45 p.m. Konan players return to Kenney Gym to prepare for games.
— 6 p.m. Konan teams take the floor for warmups.
— 6:30 p.m. Konan team plays Normal Calvary Baptist.
— 7:45 p.m. Second Konan team plays Uni alumni team.

— 9 p.m. Return to hotel.

Tuesday, Oct. 31
— 10 a.m. Walk to Uni Gym to meet Uni students for day of classes.
— 3 p.m. School Assembly for Halloween party/costume contest.
— 4 p.m. Travel to Curtis Orchard.
— 6 p.m. Travel to Kamakura Restaurant for dinner.
— 7:30 p.m. Return to hotel.

Wednesday, Nov. 1
— 8:30 a.m. Walk to Uni Gym to meet Uni students and bus for tour of Amish country.
— 4:30 p.m. Return from Amish tour. Dinner.
— 6 p.m. Meet at Hampton Inn to travel to Assembly Hall for Fighting Illini basketball game.
— 7 p.m. Illini vs. Lewis University.
— 9:30 p.m. Return to hotel.

Thursday, Nov. 2
— TBA Konan group departs for Chicago.
