THE CLASS OF 2007 spent the recent three-day weekend blissfully decompressing in the Wisconsin Dells on the annual senior trip. Although it was the fourth time in a row that seniors have been to the Dells, the trip nonetheless provided this year's group of 56 soon-to-be-graduates with excitement as they had fun exploring their condos, visiting the Wilderness Resort waterpark, and skiing at Devil's Head.
On Saturday, all of the seniors went to the waterpark and took advantage of the various rides. Sunday was different, as some returned to the waterpark or went skiing, while others stayed in the condos. There were few planned group activities, giving the seniors time for impromptu rounds of liar's dice, video games, time in the hot tub, and various movies.
The class seemed to bond well, as seen by many informal group activities. All six of the condos were unlocked during the day, so people from different condos could easily talk to each other, share food, and crowd into neighboring hot tubs.
The trip came to a close late Monday morning with lunch at Moosejaw, a local pizzeria and brewery. The seniors greatly enjoyed the trip, and all became a little closer to one another.
