HARD TO BELIEVE, but the fall sports season is winding down.

The boys soccer team (12-8-1) has made it past the first two rounds of the Class A playoffs and will face off against Danville Schlarman (11-4-2) on Friday in a sectional semifinal game 3:30 p.m. at Monticello High School. If the Illineks win that contest, they will play on Monday in the sectional championship for the right to go to the IHSA state tournament. They would face the winner of Thursday's Judah Christian vs. Teutopolis semifinal match.
