Uni High Coach's Overall Tournament Comments:
We finished in first place, winning all five of our matches. Michelle Wong was named the tournament MVP, and Rachel Skoza was named to the all-tournament team. Skoza led the team in kills (47), blocks (6), and aces (15). Wong led the team in assists (84), and also contributed 18 digs and 10 aces. Annie Machesky led the team in digs, with 48. During the tournament, Skoza broke both the Uni season and career kills records. The former career kills record (393) was held by Lis Pollock (’99), and the former season kills record (175) was held by Amanda (Smeltzer) Palla (’97). Skoza now has 423 career kills and 199 kills on the season.
