Great NY Times article

I told 4th hour about this article. It was in the New York Times Magazine recently. Everyone should read this whether or not they have an interest in writing about anorexia.

Wow, this is an amazing article. Thanks, Devika!

Devika is right. Everyone should read this. It’s an excellent example of how to use your own experience to write about a larger topic. Writing in the first person is tricky. It’s easy to surrender to narcissistic impulses. It takes talent and discipline to write about yourself and those close to you in a way that finds the universal in the particular. — Mr. Porreca, Gargoyle adviser
