Just spotted this happy trio:
Because it was beyond my powers to deduce what the heck they were doing, Micah and Angela filled me in. They were constructing a $14 steady cam (or steadycam, or steadicam - a camera stabilizer), the poor person's version of the professional model, which can cost thousands of dollars. As you can see below, both were happy with the finished product (which Micah gleefully described as "so sexy!!!"). btw, Julian may look like he's being productive in the above photo, but those of us who were there know better.
