Spring break!
Lots of people in today checking out books to read over the break. I'm packing three: Everything Is Illuminated by Jonathan Safran Foer (Fiction F684e 2003), I Can't Believe It's Not the Justice League by Keith Giffen & J.M. Dematteis (GN G366i), and Howard's End by E.M. Forster (Fiction F77h1986). Some wildly different choices there. During the week I'll be in Denver visiting family, so the blog will be relatively quiet. I'll sandwich the week with two great dance events: the English-American Dance & Music Weekend here and the (wonderfully named) Pigtown Fling in Cincinnati. Should be a good break.

First time viewing your blog. Found it doing research for a GSLIS class on school blogs. Yours is a prime example. Thanks for the great blog!
Love hearing what others are reading.
Personally, I like silly books.
Thus, over spring break, I read (and recommend) the book _I Love Everybody (And Other Atrocious Lies): True Tales of a Loudmouth Girl_, by Laurie Notaro. It contains many exaggerated (but true) accounts that are fun to read and that probably everyone can understand (It's an easy read, but has swearing in it).
I think that people who like funny anecdotes would like this book. I also think that this book is book 2 or 3 in a 3 book series (they are loosely connected... they kind of go in chronological order with the anecdotes).
I decided to post here, because the Manga Club forum wasn't getting too much action...
The Manga Lord has returned from New York.
