My feet are tired (but happy)

I'm back after 5 very interesting days at the American Library Association Conference in New Orleans. As the first big conference in the city since Katrina, we received a warm welcome and garnered some big time press. I must confess that I've been unfaithful to this blog, having accepted a gig as a conference blogger for the American Association of School Librarians. I'm operating under the imaginative name of fharris.

And yes, I brought home some good conference swag. More manga stuff to spread around and even a few things for me. The Polaris people were making customized Read posters. I'll post mine when the jpeg file arrives. And I got myself a "What happens in the library stays in the library" fitted t-shirt from the Unshelved guys. I got some great looks in the airport. However, I think I made a mistake by putting it in the dryer.
