Fussy about fonts
Today Mr. Beesley was laughing at right-hand-website-design-man Adam, whose shower was spoiled by inconsistent font-ness on his bar of Dial soap. Adam sent me this image as proof.

He was particularly bothered by the nonconforming a. I personally am glad we have Adam's keen eye and sound sensibility on our student web team.
Speaking of funny fonts, I love how Natalie enhanced our Teen Tech Week poster with these awesome background colors.

Thanks for the mention, Ms. Harris.
It's not so awful that the a's are different, just that the typefaces are so similar otherwise that there appears to have been some effort to match them.
And speaking of being fussy about fonts, I do have one small critique. A font is just a computer file (or, in the antiquated sense, a collection of metal blocks)to hold a typeface, which is a collection of similarly designed letterforms.
I by no means intend to be harshly critical; this is something I myself only learned a few weeks ago, and the terms are becoming more and more interchangeable, but it's an interesting distinction.

Ah, typefaces! As a child, I used to pore over my mother's books of them (she was a commercial artist). You are so right, and thanks for prompting those warm memories.
