Clean reading

Here's another reading "environment" I find intriguing. The bathtub with book shelves from Antonio Lupi can be all yours for a mere $17,300.

Hmmm. Somehow it seems less practical than the book case bedroom or stairs. {via}

And if the tub overflows, then you're in trouble... but if you have it put in your bathroom instead of somewhere strange like your den, you'll never have to worry about reading material when you have to go...

I realize this will forever brand me as a hopeless geek, but I recently put up a (small) set of bookshelves in the bathroom, where I mostly keep some recent magazines. However, they're on the opposite wall from the tub, where I think even the biggest splashes are unlikely to get them wet. :-)

It would be a WHOLE lot cheaper to buy a bathtub and install a shelf or something. Plus, how could you reach the books while in the tub?
