Everyone, and I mean everyone
is fascinated by what the girl sitting on the left
has to say. She has poise, she has eloquence, and students
and teacher alike are held wrapt by her discourse...except

Here a gentleman of the
masculine persuasion (yes, a male) fulfills his role as
library assistant and helps with the circulation records.
You see, even in the 1970s the profession was liberated

The head librarian at Uni
for most of the '70s, Ms. Van Nord. For anyone who's interested,

available in the Uni High Library archives in room 201.

like that sort of thing...all sorts of subtext and intrigue.

assistants that helped in the library. In those days,
room 218 was known as the "library Annex" (and

a gleam in the librarian's eye). This young lady was the
supervisor of the room-across-the-hall. (1976) |
