NovelistNovelist is much, much more than a list of novels -- it's a database in which you can look up books you might like using information about books you know you like. If you choose either the “find a favorite author” or “find a favorite title” option, you can look up an author or title you like and get recommendations for other books (by the same author and/or different authors). You can choose the “describe a plot” option to find books with a plot you like (thrillers set on submarines in World War II, for example). You can also find other books in a series using one book you've read. There are various other search options too. Check it out!
YALSA Booklists and Book AwardsContains many regularly updated lists from the Young Adult Library Services Organization. Lists range from the quite useful but not-too-excitingly named “best books for young adults” to the slightly-less-generically-named “outstanding books for the college bound.”
Newbery Medal and Honor BooksChosen each year by the Association for Library Services to Children, Newbery Medal and Newbery Honor books are widely considered to be some of the best books written. Uni has almost all of the Newbery Medal books and many of the Honor books.
Teenreads.comThis is a commercial site that links its reviews to Amazon.com, but they keep on top of new releases in a lot of different genres and have nice, short summaries of potential reads.
Santa Clara County (CA) Teen Books and AuthorsMade by the Santa Clara County Library, this site has lists by genre (e.g., horror, historical fiction, biography...).
