“It was senior night [for the girls varsity basketball team], and Julie Chen passed the ball inbounds but Al Johnson never came up for it, so Julie went and caught the ball herself, so she basically passed the ball to herself. It was hilarious.”

“So last year we had Advanced Topics in the German room with Ms. Plisch, and we found the controller to the projector. So certain individuals … controlled the projector and would turn it on and off, and Ms. Plisch couldn't figure out what was going on, so she claimed it was possessed and couldn't figure out how to unplug it. So we sat there for literally like a week or two spending the entire period just turning it on and off.”

“It was subbie year when we were banned from hanging out on the third floor, so they made us the subbie lounge. It was the German room. Ben [Erickson] had long hair subbie year, and one day he was hanging out the window. The police department called in and was like, ‘There's a girl hanging out your window.' And then Ben turned around and he wasn't a girl.”

“The funniest moment that I remember at Uni High was that time Farid [Zaghloul] and I went to Pages for All Ages and bought some novels by Jade Lee [a nom de plume of Uni alum and parent Kathy Grill]. And then I think Al [Renner] picked them up and started reading them. Actually I think he even took them home with him.”
Farid Zaghloul
“My favorite Uni High moment was Mrs. Jockusch's facial expression when she saw the cascading mountain of porn that spewed forth from David Francis Lawrence Boyle's locker.”
