Girls volleyball: Uni ends regular season with 20th win

[UPDATED] In what was already a record-setting season, the Uni girls volleyball team reached two more milestones tonight. In a senior night victory over conference foe Judah Christian, the Illineks won their 20th match of the season and finished with their best-ever conference record. The girls will enter the postseason on Tuesday when they visit Clinton High School for the first round of Class 2A regionals.

Chess: Uni extends record to 3-0

Thursday night, the Uni chess team defeated Bismarck-Henning in two rounds, winning the first round by 58-0 and the second round by 49-9. The chess team is now 3-0 in the East Central Illinois Chess League.
