Don't forget about art

Art is weird.

It is revered, detested, misunderstood, enjoyed, created, and destroyed. Art is in a constant state of metamorphosis; certain styles go in and out of fashion and others are timeless. Techniques are constantly being copied, spliced, and rewired. And this isn't simply visual art, it's everything — photography, fashion, architecture, music, dance, writing.

Who are your top friends?

Go on any social networking site these days and you'll discover that it's not hard to find out just how popular you are using one of the new "Top Friends" applications. These allow you to list about 10 of your favorite friends, and the rest of the world gets to see whom you like the most.

There's a petticoat in my chemistry seat!

We've all heard it before: The kitchen/lounge/school-at-large is a mess. But it's not just tomato sauce-encrusted microwaves or lettuce in the elevator that make Uni a bit of a pigsty.

I'm not actually concerned about the clutter, but more with what people are leaving around. Weird articles of clothing are showing up everywhere.

College visit: The University of Chicago from a senior's view

It's one of the rituals of senior year: visiting college campuses. But there's more to a college visit than taking the official tour. Seniors Jie Han and Linda Song recently made the drive up I-57 to check out the University of Chicago. They sampled the classes as well as the cuisine and came away impressed.
