Boys basketball: Illineks roll to best start of Beesley era

News-Gazette athlete of the week Mike Renner scored 19 points to lead Uni to a 72-23 road victory Friday night over Shiloh. The win improved Uni's record to 5-0, marking the best start in Joel Beesley's 13 seasons as varsity coach. Making it to 6-0 won't be easy, however. The Illineks will face crosstown rival St. Thomas More on Tuesday at Kenney Gym.

"Being in plays really forces you to spend a lot of time with the same people, and you end up learning a lot of things," Lauren says. So I have been on theatre (yes, it is spelled that way!) overdrive for the past 3 months.

Now don't get me wrong, I love theatre. Directing my own play has been especially amazing. But being in plays really forces you to spend a lot of time with the same people, and you end up learning a lot of things. I decided to spend this blog entry imparting some theatre wisdom on all of you.
