Girls track: Illineks advance to state meet in three events

Uni will send six athletes to the IHSA girls state track finals Friday in Charleston. The Illineks qualified in the 4x800 relay (Warner, Collopy, Khanna, Welch), the 1,600 run (Russell), and the pole vault (Martin). They won sectional titles in two of those events: the pole vault and 4x800. [UPDATED with information about Friday's state prelims.]
