This past summer, a number of Uni students attended a variety of foreign trips. Here is a closer look at the 2007 French trip, a three-week journey through northern France. Led by teachers John Garvey and Lynda Lopez, the excursion took place in June, and included a one-week homestay in Evreux and two weeks of travel through Normandy and the northern coast of France. The 17 students hit Giverny, Rouen, Etretat, Bayeux, Honfleur, St. Malo, and Paris. Check inside for more.

Playing against a St. Thomas More team that went 21-10 last year and brought back 11 letter winners this season, the Illineks lost in two games Monday night. Highlights included a spirited comeback attempt in the second game. But in the end the Sabers' height, quickness, and strength prevailed. Uni will regroup for a home match tonight against Normal Calvary Baptist. The contest will be the girls' first match at Kenney Gym this season.
