The deadline to RSVP for this year's prom is just a week away. Don't have a date yet? Get to it! Not quite sure how to handle the possible complications? Elaine Gu has all the advice you'll need. "In my opinion, when it comes to prom, things should be done the 'traditional' way," she writes. "That means guys should do the asking, because chivalry is not dead. CD review: Children of Bodom, "Blooddrunk"

The Finnish metal band Children of Bodom (who get their name from a 1960 multiple homicide in their home country) released their latest album on Tuesday, and Carl Zielinski already has his verdict. "Even if it doesn’t leave you grinning in ghoulish delight as it does me," he writes, "respect has to be given to a band that plays as well as Bodom. You won’t find better musicians in any genre today. This is pure, unedited metal."
