Class trip preview: Juniors to spend Sunday at Kings Island

After last year's successful trip to Six Flags St. Louis, the Class of 2009 is ready for a sequel. This time the destination is the Kings Island Cincinnati amusement park. On Sunday, almost 40 people are expected to participate in the junior class trip, including chaperones led by Assistant Principal Sue Kovacs. The trip is yet another ground-breaking excursion planned by class president Isaac Chambers, founder of the Allerton Experience.

Biking for a good cause: S4BW to hold community ride Saturday for A Woman's Fund

Students for a Better World has organized its third community bike ride in the last 12 months for A Woman's Fund, an umbrella organization that provides rape crisis services and a shelter for women escaping from domestic violence. The latest event will take place Saturday morning, with riders departing from Lincoln Square Mall between 8 a.m. and noon. Check inside for details.

Dance crew to perform Saturday at Spring Fling

After a two-week delay due to a scheduling conflict, the freshman-sponsored Spring Fling is on for Saturday at the Wesley Foundation. Highlights include the debut performance of the dance crew founded by juniors Kareem Sayegh, Karolina Kalbarczyk, and Natsuki Nakamura.
