Girls soccer: Uni shuts down Charleston's top scorer, wins 3-1

[AUDIO included] Charleston's Molly Ball entered today's contest against Uni High with nine goals to her credit in just two games. But thanks to a great defensive effort by freshman midfielder Amanda Hwu, the Illineks held the senior scoreless and went on to defeat the Class AA Lady Trojans, avenging last year's 7-1 loss.

Give 'em what they want

Violence is portrayed everywhere in the media. From movies to music, there is not a single medium free from it. And we as a society enjoy this.

You cannot walk into a movie theater without seeing an advertisement for a movie involving some form of violence. Why is that? Why has this become such a big part of entertainment?

Preparing for standardized tests

Junior year is awfully busy.

You have to start thinking about colleges and prepare for standardized tests: PSAT, SAT, ACT, SAT II subjects, and AP tests. If this doesn’t seem a lot already, think about the activities you participate in and all the work you have to do for school.

But his ability to count cards offers a way out after he is recruited by a professor who aims to score big in Vegas. Rachel Skoza enjoyed the fast pace of this movie, but was that enough to earn her recommendation?
