Do you realize that there are only six more days of school?

Of course, after that we have finals, but even including finals it's only 10 days total.

A new type of crime

Last fall we heard about the case of a Missouri teenager who killed herself after being abused through MySpace, allegedly by the mother of a former friend. Missouri law enforcement officials did not file charges.

All throughout the NBA playoffs, I've been amazed by how exciting the games have been, even in these early rounds. I usually don't watch the playoffs until the finals, but this year has been too compelling.

Girls soccer: Season ends with 3-0 loss to Williamsville

[UPDATED with photos] Playing through a constant downpour, No. 1 seed Williamsville shut out Uni 3-0 in a sectional semifinal game this afternoon. The No. 4 seed Illineks ended their season 11-6-2, a major improvement over last season's 7-8-2 mark, which in turn was dramatically better than their 2006 record of 4-15.

This afternoon the Illineks will travel to Williamsville, a few miles northeast of Springfield, to take on the host Bullets, the No. 1 seed in Uni's playoff bracket and the defending sectional champs.
