The big news in C-U entertainment this week is Roger Ebert's Overlooked Film Festival, which begins tonight at the Virginia Theatre and continues through Sunday. Jono Baron and Erin Hayes give the rundown on that and more.

The IHSA sectionals will take place on May 11, so time is running out for the Illineks to get into postseason shape. If their performances Friday at the Falcon Invitational are any indication, a number of Illineks have a good shot at advancing to state this year.

Attention is already turning toward next year as subfreshmen through juniors on Tuesday elected the Student Council executive officers for 2007-08. Class elections will take place later this semester.
