The network will try to raise awareness and acceptance for people with Down syndrome with the fundraiser to be held Saturday at Crystal Lake Park. Events will occur throughout the morning leading up to the walk at noon. Ellen Lindsey, Uni High's registrar and Student Services Office secretary, will be there with her son, Joey, who has Down syndrome.
