Smile for the camera: Urbana Public Television to broadcast Uni sports

Ever wanted to go to a Uni basketball game but couldn’t because you had too much homework? Pretty soon you’ll be able to watch the game anyway. Urbana Public Television plans to broadcast several upcoming games on Channel 6. The station is also looking for students to help with the broadcasts.

Uni students fill the pages of Illinois History magazine

Fifteen Uni students have been published in the two most recent issues of Illinois History: A Magazine for Young People. The work of five juniors and one senior appear in the January issue of the magazine, while essays by nine freshmen are in the February issue.
