Audio slideshow: S4BW's Ragin' Cajun success story

On a cold Friday night in February, about 120 people arrived at the Grace Lutheran Church in Champaign for an evening of delicious food and fine music. The reason? Students for a Better World hosted a Ragin' Cajun dinner Feb. 15 to benefit the Hurricane Katrina-damaged Wilson Elementary School, which is located in one of the hardest-hit areas of New Orleans.

While many Uni students spent Agora Days 2008 taking interesting and wacky classes, a group of 17 Uni students gave up what would have been a relaxing, homework-free week to go down to Clarksdale in the Mississippi Delta and help build a house for Habitat for Humanity. UFU Month begins: United for Uganda to host hip-hop benefit concert tonight

United for Uganda takes over the Independent Media Center tonight for a hip-hop benefit concert featuring local recording artists Krukid, Cornbread, and Text. The all-ages show starts at 10 p.m., and tickets cost $6. All proceeds will go toward Come Let's Dance, a grassroots organization in northern Uganda helping former child soldiers and their local communities. The event kicks off "UFU Month."

Senior trip '08: Can I have a time-turner please?

Almost the entire Class of 2008 went to the Wisconsin Dells on this year's senior trip. The seniors stayed in condos, about 12 students per suite, where they cooked their own food, hung out, relaxed, and enjoyed some class bonding. They also had a chance to swim and go skiing. Jie Han was in the thick of it all, and she brought back this first-person account.
