Girls & boys track: Uni wins seven events at PBL meet

Last week at St. Joseph-Ogden, senior Malcolm Taylor dazzled spectators with a state-caliber performance in the 400-meter dash. This week at Paxton-Buckley-Loda, he quadrupled the distance and still came out on top, eclipsing his old cross-country rival from PBL, Felix Cardoso, by almost 11 seconds to win the 3,200 run. Taylor's performance was one of several Uni highlights at Tuesday's PBL coed meet.

Plagiarism at Uni: An open letter to students from English teacher Suzanne Linder

Now in her 11th year of teaching English at Uni High, Suzanne Linder has dealt with an unusually large number of plagiarism incidents this year. She has encountered five clear-cut instances of plagiarism and three others in which she suspects plagiarism. Because of this, she has written an open letter to the student body addressing the problem.

Spring play diary '08: A last hurrah

This is the concluding installment of our 2008 spring play diary. Last week the Gargoyle presented a series of diary entries by five members of this year’s spring play, Shakespeare's "Much Ado About Nothing." Our diary began with Michelle Gao, and today she brings us full circle, reflecting on her final performance as a Uni High thespian.
