Theatrefest memories: Adventures among the thespians

With Uni's spring play, "Much Ado About Nothing," scheduled to open Thursday night, thespians Michelle Gao, Anna Gooler, and Lauren Piester reminisce about their adventures at Theatrefest, an annual convention for theater-lovers across the state. One of the only school-sponsored overnight trips, it proved once again to be an enlightening and worthwhile experience.

Girls track: Outdoor season begins with Champaign County Meet

Led by sophomore sprinter Rachel Harmon's third-place finish in the 200-meter dash, the Uni girls track team began the outdoor season Saturday with a solid performance at the Champaign County Meet.

The cast of "Much Ado About Nothing" can tell you all about the tedious yet exciting process of lacing up bodices and buttoning jackets in preparation for the upcoming performance of this Shakespearean comedy, which opens Thursday at 7 p.m.

Changing places: Uni, St. Thomas More student councils participate in two-day exchange program

Uni students can expect to see a few unfamiliar faces in the hallways Thursday. That’s because the student councils at Uni High and St. Thomas More are in the midst of an exchange program. Six Uni StudCo members spent today at the Champaign school, while tomorrow five STM students will make the trip across town.
