After almost 20 years, the fourth installment of the "Indiana Jones" franchise will open on Friday. But the big news in C-U entertainment concerns weekend concerts involving senior Grant Loos and sophomores Sindha Agha and Loic Hostetter.

The latest edition of Uni's famous sketch comedy program Big Show was performed May 9 and 10 in the North Attic. Check out this audio slideshow to relive the roaring success of this year's production and to hear co-director Anna Cangellaris give her thoughts on the show.

Anna Gooler brings our Big Show '08 diary to an end with a look at closing night. Somehow Anna and the rest of the cast managed to make it through the 5K run the morning of Saturday, May 10, and they were ready to go when the lights went on for the final performance later that evening.

For the third straight year, Uni High has been named one of Newsweek’s “public elites” in the magazine’s annual listing of best American high schools. Only 17 schools earned the distinction, down from 19 last year and 21 in 2006. Public elites are those schools that did not make Newsweek’s larger list of 1,300 top public high schools simply because, in the magazine's words, “their students are too good.”

It must be close to the end of the year because students have already elected Student Council executive officers for '08-'09. Check inside for the winners.
