I've got the shoes, I've got the shorts, I've got that queasy feeling in my stomach, and now it's time for it to start. I'm talking about basketball season, one of the hardest seasons of the year. With one week off from volleyball, which was amazingly relaxed, it is now time for me to suit up and prepare to get home at 7, again.
Halfway to winter break

Time always seems to go by quickly. As usual, it’s been a busy two months for Uni students — with everyone obsessed with homework and whatnot, so I was somewhat surprised when I looked at my calendar and saw that October is giving way to November. What exactly does this time of year mean?
Halloween just isn't the same anymore

Ghosts and ghouls. Overflowing garbage bags of candy. Annoying people ringing your doorbell every five minutes. Ah yes, it’s Halloween time again.
For me, Halloween has always been a day where I could count on skipping homework and running around with my friends while feeling ridiculous because I was always the only one who didn’t have a ridiculous costume.
A waste

At the beginning of our cross country season, the rest of the team and I were getting better meet by meet. At a major invitational, many people on the team, including myself, recorded personal bests. However, instead of celebrating, I worried about a pain growing in my right hip.
