Between two worlds: From Christmas to Three Kings Day

On Jan. 6 most children in America were done with their gift-giving holidays. Hanukkah, Christmas, even New Year's had passed. But in Hispanic countries the children had yet to receive their holiday gifts until that day. Jan. 6, Three Kings Day, is the prominent holiday celebrated in many Latin American cultures.
Post-Christmas shopping

On the last weekend of winter break, I went with a couple of my friends to Market Place Mall. We were there to do our slightly late Christmas shopping.
