Welcome, Guest!

It's Obama Blue Day

You might see a lot of people wearing blue today — more than usual. That's because supporters of Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama have declared Sept. 30 to be Obama Blue Day.

With many potential voters still undecided, Obama supporters wanted to have a day where they could make the case for their candidate and try to persuade people who are on the fence.

So the organizers of Obama Blue Day have asked his supporters around the country to do two things today: Wear blue and register two voters.

Or at least talk to people who may be on the fence or are supporters of Republican presidential candidate John McCain.

Some will go door-to-door, talk to relatives, persuade people online, or even stop random people in the supermarket. Obama Blue Day is aiming to be a day of action.

As the Obama supporters say, "Barack the Vote!"
