Welcome, Guest!

Another reason to go to the Halloween dance: Tempe Fugi will be back in action

Last year, then-juniors Kareem Sayegh, Natsuki Nakamura, and Karolina Kalbarczyk invited me to be a member of a new group, Uni High's first dance crew: Tempe Fugi.

The crew was created in the hopes of getting more people to show up at Uni dances. At Spring Fling '08 our team turned it out at the dance with a really positive response from our audience. (See audio slideshow below.)

This year, we’re at it again!

Tempe Fugi have been working hard over the last few months to come up with some superfly moves for our next performance. To those of you who loved us at Spring Fling, you can relive your entertaining experience again at the upcoming Halloween dance this Saturday at Uni Gym from 8 to 11 p.m.

If you want to see Kareem and fellow senior Alan Liang getting jiggy with it, Natsuki and Karolina’s fun stunts, or me and senior Ben Daniels krumping, and all of us tearing up the floor — be sure to be there on Saturday.

With all the great times we had coming up with the moves, you are certain to have a fantastic time, too.

Want to see Tempe Fugi in action? Check out this slideshow of last year's Spring Fling, when the dance crew made their debut.
