To study or not to study?

What’s on your iPod? On mine music mostly, and some pictures. Audio books? Not really. What’s the function of the iPod — something to relax with? Or is it an educational tool?

Over the summer, Apple released a new game (for want of a better word) for the video iPod — SAT practice tests. I thought this was great. After cross country practice, while aiting for someone to pick me up, instead of listening to uneducational music, I could play the game and become SAT savvy. Maybe it would even help me get into Stanford.

But, as I said, that was during the summer.

Now that school has started, I’ve realized that I forgot how much time and energy it takes up, and how little free time I actually have. Do I really want to fill those moments of waiting with yet another confusing math problem or word definition? No!

So for now, instead of studying in the Kenney parking lot, I think I’ll just space out like I normally do.
