Managing homework

All of us react to homework at Uni in different ways. Some days we may find homework easy to handle, while other days we may encounter challenges and face difficulties. Are there any solutions that could make every day an easy day?

What I have found the most difficult challenge is time management due to extracurricular activities, such as soccer, chess, and piano and other commitments. I would love to keep up these activities and have a life besides homework from school. However, completing homework with fine quality and meeting teachers’ requirements takes some good time. Some subjects will require more time than originally anticipated. Balancing school homework and extracurriculars is not easy, and as a Uni student, this is a challenge for me.

There are many helpful Web sites that provide high school homework assistance. The purpose of these kinds of sites is to provide resources for high school students. Some Web sites provide a list of links organized by class subject areas, such as math, English composition and literature, history, physics, etc. The links also include reference materials, search engines, and online courses and college preparation. Sometimes the sites offer access to a private chat room where students can talk to each other.

Such sites may be hosted by public libraries as well as private companies. They are updated periodically as new resources are constantly being added to the list. However, it is not good to become completely reliant on these sites, as students need to become accustomed to working and thinking about the homework themselves.

On some days, homework piles up from many classes. Although one can use online services to help accomplish the homework when things get hectic, one may become too reliant on these sites. In the end, time management is still a challenge when homework collides with other activities.
