I took this picture when it was over 80 degrees outside this summer at Meadowbrook Park in Urbana.

Winter halts so many of my hobbies to a certain degree … It’s often terribly bitter and going outdoors to photograph guarantees being frozen to the bone after five minutes.

Protesting is also unpleasant in the cold, and sometimes I shamefully shy away from attending protests that I normally would because the weather is dreadful.

Therefore I would like to make a desperate plea for warm weather, if anyone’s listening.
