Cleaned up
After years of being grossed out by Kenney Gym's lockers, we're finally getting brand new totally clean ones. Yellow wouldn't have been our first choice, though …

A smart move

Our very own Uni chess team finished its regular season undefeated. No doubt this is a sign of great things to come at the IHSA state tourney in February. Great job, guys!

Winter formal
After a couple of letdowns with dances canceled at the last minute, we all had a lot of fun at the winter formal. All the guys and girls were looking superfly in their suits and dresses! Good job, sophomores, for planning a great dance!

Spring fever
Can it really be winter if it's not cold outside? The awesome weather we had earlier this month made us all wish that spring break would come a lot sooner. Less than eight weeks to go!

Fencing fiend
Who says Americans can't fence? Subbie Daniel Pearlstein came in third at the United States Fencing Association's regional youth tournament, advancing to nationals. Touché!

Supporting the arts
Thanks to the generosity of Janet and Michael LeRoy, parents of 2005 grads Sarah and Ben LeRoy,
Uni's winter concert was held again in Krannert's Great Hall. Thanks!
