I know a lot of high school students who are of more value to the world around them than many "full-fledged members of society" that I have met. Don't underestimate the ability of age to effectively suck the passion and drive out of an individual. In some of our teachers here at Uni, like Matt Mitchell and Bill Sutton, we have wonderful examples of intelligent adults who remain politically and socially vigilant and righteous. But there is such a thing as youthful passion for a cause, and often times it is stifled when it can do much good.
