Just FLUSH

Monday afternoon, after school, I head with a group of my friends to Grainger Engineering Library, a short walk down Springfield Ave. After leaving my backpack and lunch box under their watch (remember that Grainger is a high theft area!), I head to the bathroom.
Upon walking in, I find that the first stall is occupied, and step into the second one. I promptly wince, and quickly backtrack. Toilet paper lines the bowl, and floats in a garish yellow liquid. I try hard not to vomit.
Come on, college students! I think. You ought to know how to do this by now!
Unfortunately, though, this doesn't just happen at Grainger. Even at Uni, I have been the sad person who comes across scenes like this.
Usually, I try to be the "good person" and flush. I mean, I don't want anyone else to have to go through the experience again. But other times, I don't want to deal with having to go back into the stall, eyes looking anywhere but at the mess, reach out a hand (ohewwwww) and flush the disaster away.
And while we're on this subject, I don't understand how or why anyone would feel like they need at least 50 squares of toilet paper at once. And I don't understand why they would just leave it floating there, either.
So all in all, guys: flush. It saves other people a whole lot of misery and disgust.
