Published: Saturday, October 27, 2007 - 2:31pm
AS A FOLLOW-UP to this year's culture fair held on Oct. 12, Uni hosted its first cultural panel, on Wednesday, Oct. 24. There were three guest speakers, Sanjiv Jain, Angela Smith, and Mikhail Lyubansky, who were each available to share their thoughts regarding race, culture, and ethnicity.
Class periods were shortened, and students were escorted to Uni gym after their fifth period class. There was time for the speakers to talk about their own personal experiences and thoughts, and at the end of the presentation students were able to hand in questions they had regarding cultural issues.
