The Illineks improved to 10-12 overall and 7-3 in the East Central Illinois Conference.
Uni began both halves on hot streaks. The visitors took a 17-2 lead at the end of the first quarter before BCL narrowed the lead to 25-15 at the half.
The Illineks returned from intermission to go on a 17-4 run, and the game was never really in doubt from then on.

Senior Ruthie Welch added 11 points and 6 boards. Senior Aran Yoo scored 6 points and recorded a team-high 4 steals. Uni grabbed 42 rebounds on the evening; seven Illineks each hauled in at least 4 boards.
Head coach Rebecca Murphy used her bench extensively as 12 Illineks saw action.
Uni next travels to Decatur Christian on Monday for its final road game of the regular season. The team must win that contest in order to have a chance at finishing with a .500 record.
The Illineks' final regular-season game will be Thursday at Kenney Gym. It will be Senior Night for Yoo, Welch, Sarah Pfander, Karen Woodley, Marika Iyer, Angie Jin, and Samantha Nguyen.
After that, the Illineks will not play until Feb. 4, when they will face Georgetown-Ridge Farm in the first round of the Class 2A playoffs. The game will begin 6 p.m at St. Thomas More High School in Champaign.
This is the first year that the IHSA has divided schools into four classes for girls basketball. A single class was used through 1979. The division of schools into small (Class A) and large (Class AA) lasted from 1980 to 2007.
Uni is seeded ninth in the 11-team Sub-Sectional B of the Bloomington Central Catholic bracket. Georgetown-Ridge Farm is seeded seventh.
The two teams played earlier this season when the Lady Buffs defeated Uni 51-29 at the McDonald's Comet Classic on Nov. 20.
If the Illineks pull off the upset, they would play second-seeded Monticello on Feb. 7. That game would begin at 6 p.m., also at regional host St. Thomas More.
