THERE MAY HAVE been no school today because of the snowstorm that swept through the Midwest, but conditions have improved enough to allow Uni and Normal Calvary Baptist Academy to play three basketball games later today.

According to Director/Principal Steve Epperson, the schedule at Kenney Gym will be:

• 5 p.m. — Uni boys JV vs. Normal Calvary
• 6:20 p.m. — Uni girls varsity vs. Normal Calvary (Senior Night ceremonies prior to start)
• 7:45 p.m. — Uni boys varsity vs. Normal Calvary

The girls had been scheduled to play their Senior Night game on Thursday, but that contest was canceled due to the snowstorm.

However, the Illinois Elementary School Association Class 8-2A Regional 4 championship game between the Uni subfreshman boys and St. Matthew went ahead as planned. St. Matthew won 40-34.

Uni finished the season 8-5 overall, 6-4 in the regular season.
