Actually, my perception of Spirit Week '08 was that people in general (maybe just seniors, as that's who I am around the most) were quite depressed, at least until the pleasant gift of a snow day gave us hope. Not saying that Spirit Week itself was a downer, but the mood this week seemed decidedly melancholy. Might just be the time of year.
