The 2006 girls soccer team has faced its share of challenges this season with injuries and the graduation of top players such as Lauren Wingo. But wins against East Central Illinois Conference foes Decatur Christian (4-1) and Judah Christian (7-0) give reason for optimism, especially with the strong performance of underclassmen such as sophomore Suran Yoo, who has scored a team-leading six goals.
