I guess it's more about marketing than fashion

"FREE" is an attention grabber. My guess is that even announcing FREE poop green t-shirts would draw some interest and probably raise a few eyebrows. Either way, the giver is getting their message out...even if it's on the back of ugly shirts.

On a different note, I'm with the poster above me...the best freebie I have is a keychain/bottle opener that acquired almost 5 years ago at the Indy 500.
